Putney Foxes will play their first league game on the 8th October 2012. If you want to be in the team you need to be coming to Sunday training and have given Jon the sign up fees and registration details. See Team Snap announcements for details.

Putney Basketball have a new Super Sunday Basketball session for all comers starting Sunday 19^th Aug 2012. We are looking to build a team and improve the skills of everyone who wants to play.

We have secured 4:30pm through 6:30pm at the Wandle Centre in Wandsworth. You can find maps and other details on the home page of this site. Contact jon@londonbasketball.com to be added to the lists.

As an initial introduction the session will be only £5 for all those signed up via our system and £6 for walk-ups. Juniors under 21 receive a £2 discount.

Putney Basketball has been invited to attend the “BT London Live” event this Saturday the 11 August.

We will be helping the London Basketball Association at the Olympic Park (of Hyde Park). There will be some coaching of new players to do and some showcase games either against the public or amongst the teams.

What we need are:

• 1/2 coaches, to help out on the day.
• 2/3 players over 16 (not 100% necessary but opportunity for them). 
• Times are-  18:00 start and finish at 21:00 

Once done we can chill out and enjoy the atmosphere.

We are looking for 3 people to join Jon at the event. Ideally anyone with coaching / umpiring experience but failing that just 3 keen players who want to enjoy this event.
